Do you want to create some special memories with your daughter that will last a lifetime? Attend a father-daughter dance at Firefly Lane Wedding and Events. The Dickson venue is hosting two dances on Feb. 23. First, it’ll host An Enchanted Evening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This dance is for daughters ages 3–8 and their fathers. The second is A Magical Masquerade from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s for daughters ages 9 and older with their fathers.
Tickets are $25 per father/daughter pair. Have a second daughter you want to bring? It’s an extra $10 for each additional daughter. Grab your tickets and then follow some tips, so your first father-daughter dance will be a success.
Work on Your Moves
You don’t have to be a good dancer to have a blast at the father-daughter dance. It’s a good idea to work on some moves ahead of time, though. Practice with your daughter a little bit before the dance. You won’t just learn some sweet moves. You’ll also enjoy some fun bonding time.
Recruit Some Other Fathers and Daughters
The dance will be more fun if your daughter has some friends there. Recruit one or two of her friends and their fathers. She’ll love having her friends there on the special day, and you’ll enjoy having dads there that you know.
Make the Event Special
This might be your daughter’s first dance, and even if it isn’t, it’s likely her first one with her father. Make it one to remember by having a meal at a nice restaurant beforehand, so you two can spend some time one on one. Also, buy your daughter a corsage for her to wear with her dress. She will feel very grown up and special if you do these things.
A couple of disposable cameras will add to the fun. There will be a photo booth at the dance, but you’ll also want to snap some candid pictures of your daughter mugging with her friends and showing off her dance moves. Give her a camera, as well, so you can see the dance from her perspective. Just think of how fun it’ll be when you look through those pictures at her wedding.

Take Her in a Nice Vehicle
There’s just one tip left. If you want to make the dance extra special, drive your daughter in a new Chevrolet, Buick, or GMC. Your daughter will feel like a queen when she arrives at the dance in a new vehicle. Make it happen by visiting Alexander Chevrolet Buick GMC in Dickson, Tennessee, today.
